20 July 2014 - Neonics induce birds decline (Nature publication)

20 July 2014 - A new Nature publication from Dutch scientists indicates that the yearly decline of ~5% of birds in the Netherlands correlates with the concentration of imidacloprid, a neonicotinoid, in surface water. This publication confirms the results of the megastudy of the Task force on systemic pesticides pointing at neonicotinoids as a major driver of the decline of biodiversity.
