17 August 2016 - Neonics linked to wild bee decline in UK

Wild bees are essential to the pollination of our crops as well as that of wild flowers. A pollination carried out by a diverse pattern of wild and managed pollinator is essential to have a resilient agriculture. In this study, UK scientists demonstrate that the development of oilseed rape, together with the use of neonicotinoids, is a major cause of wild bee declin in UK.
