2 February 2016 New international study confirms that pollinators' diversity increases yields by 20%
A new international study, focussing on pollinators in different continents identified that the absence of diversity (different species) in the pollinators community has even a bigger impact than a lower number of pollinators. Those are even more important for small crops and small farming communities. It is therefore vital not to focus only on protecting honey bees but also wild pollinators.
