29 June 2016 New study confirms harm of neonicotinoids to bees through royal jelly

Neonicotinoids, at field-relevant concentrations, decrease the amount of acetylcholine in bee larvae diet. This induces an increase in larvae mortality and thus an increase in brood mortality.
