17 December 2013 EFSA acknowledges risk posed by neonicotinoids to humans

In a press release, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has acknowledged that two neonicotinoids, acetamiprid and imidacloprid, could have a toxic effect on the development of the nervous system of the unborn. Imidacloprid is the top one selling insecticide worldwide. This EFSA report is thus frightening with regards to the future generations.
